I don't live in Morgan Hill now but on a ten day visit I ate there 3 times. Can't get enough of their delicious menu. Great fish and chips and had a wonderful salad with shrimp and crab. Love this place!!!

I was by myself and just had the fish and chips, so limited exposure to the menu beyond what I saw on other people's plates. The fish was very good--the batter was light and not greasy, and the filets were big. The fries were just garden variety frozen food. A missed opportunity to up their game without a huge amount of extra effort. The servers were all nice and efficient. Checked on me a couple of times and refilled my iced tea. Seems like they knew several people so I'm guessing it's a family run place. The ambiance itself was tired nautical, and the place is in a strip mall so not much good to say about that other than it was clean.

My go to way the grilled fish with 2 sides. Today I wanted to try the fish tacos because you really cannot find them anywhere. You get 2 tacos for $12.48. I got one grilled and one fried. Oh goodness. Amazing. Huge. Greatness. The pieces of fish were enormous. I had to take off some of the pico de gallo and cabbage to eat it. The only downside was the tortilla couldn't handle all of the greatness. I finished both eating it with my fork.

The swordfish was excellent -- very juicy and flavorful. However, the garlic fries had WAY too much garlic on them. I would still say this restaurant is worth it though, as the severs were kind enough that I imagine it will be no problem to ask for less garlic next time, and it was a relatively minor problem anyways. The prices were good as well, being relatively low, and definitely worth the money. The atmosphere was decent -- nothing spectacular, but definitely not bad. As mentioned, the severs were kind and down to earth. I'll definitely be going again to try more of their menu!

We come here whenever we're in the mood for fish n chips. Their portions are large and the batter is nice and crisp. It's preferred to dine in since ordering anything crispy will not yield good results by the time it's delivered. Besides, you can lather your fish, prawns, oysters, or scallops in their tartar or cocktail sauce onsite. You can't really go wrong with any of the above items. The only thing they can improve on here is their fries. It's a bit powdery for me despite how much they deep fry them. And since they come unsalted, it's not gonna stick to the salt grains once served so I feel like you need to either eat them au naturale or drench them in some kinda sauce.

I was in the area for a work event and needed a quick bite to eat ahead of time.  I'd been to the San Jose location in the past, but didn't realize there was one in Morgan Hill.  I came on a Saturday late afternoon/early evening.  Already the parking lot was pretty full, and so was the restaurant.  It was able to squeeze into an empty table near one of the TVs (showing college football).  The menu was already on the table, so I chose my food and ordered through the server.  The food came very quickly (though the place was hopping with in person diners as well as several folks ordering to-go).  I chose the clam chowder and 1 fish combo, which came with fries as well as some soup crackers.  Right away, I could tell that the chowder was freshly made (not out of a can).  And the fish (Alaskan pollock) was perfectly cooked, which just a light tempura breading.   The server also brought in bottles of tartar sauce and ketchup, while the malt vinegar was already on the table.   Everything was delicious, and I finished my meal very quickly.  If I had more time, I would have ordered more food.  But that will have to wait until the next time!
